Chic Chik Dinner —Chicken Milanese

Chicken Milanese is a classic dish to serve along with your favorite pasta. This gently fried chicken is flavorful and best when served with a tangy splash of lemon juice!


• 2 eggs • kosher salt to taste • ground black pepper to taste • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, thinly sliced • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying • 1 lemon, cut into wedges


Step 1

Begin by preheating the oven to 200 degrees F. Step 2

Prep your dipping station for frying. In a shallow dish, add the flour. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper. In the final dish, add the breadcrumbs. Step 3

Prepare the chicken by first dipping into flour, followed by the egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat with all chicken breasts until well coated. Step 4

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and no longer pink in the center (3-4 minutes on each side). Keep warm in the preheated oven until ready to
